WHAT HAPPENS AT CROCODILE DOCK?

Crocodile Dock is an incredible Bayou Adventure that leads kids deeper in God's word by immersing them in interactive and fun experiences!

There is a Daily Bible Point explained in fun ways at a child’s level followed by a daily challenge. The daily challenge is a way to live out the Bible point at home with some good action.
The Daily Bible Points for Power Lab are:
#1: God is with us. God speaks to Moses in a burning bush. (Exodus 3:1-4:17)
#2: God is powerful. God sends the plagues on Egypt. (Exodus 7:1-10:29)
#3: God does what he says he’ll do. God spares the Israelites at Passover. (Exodus 11:1-12:42)
#4: God gives us life. Jesus dies and comes back to life. (Matthew 27:11-28:10)
#5: God cares for us. The Israelites cross the Red Sea. (Exodus 14:1-15:21)

The kids learn these points by rotating through different stations each day, including the Dockside Drive- In, Snack Shack, Crawfish Craft & Missions, Crawfish Craft & Missions, Chadder’s Bayou, etc. They’ll spend 20 minutes at each station for a total of three hours of Bible Camp fun! They will start each day in a large group at the Dockside Drive-In to set the theme for the day. This is followed by the rotation to all of the stations. Bible learning is reinforced in everything they do! The Daily Bible Point is celebrated at every station and through the Crocodile Dock in new, creative ways.

At Crocodile Dock, kids will be on the lookout for God Sightings™. This is so much fun! Each day, kids will think of places and situations where they might see God in action—or ways they can be a God Sighting! They’ll even receive a “Watch for God” wristband as a special reminder to wear throughout the week. Crews (a group of six/seven kids and one adult) gather every day and pass around a God Sight Light as they share their latest God Sightings. Then, each crew will bring a God Sight Light and add it to the set during Sing & Play Swamp Stomp. By the end of your VBS, you will literally see God’s light shining and expanding!
