Along with hearing about more God Sightings, we learned about Jesus' death and Resurrection, and even took part in celebrating passover-complete with grape juice and "bitter herbs." We learned that even though we sin, Jesus forgives us because He loves us so much-and gives us new life!
BIBLE POINT: GOD GIVES US LIFE
When the kids hear the BIBLE POINT each day, they respond with a loud "FEAR NOT!"
BIBLE MEMORY BUDDY: Blossom the Possum
In Crawfish Crafts and Missions, Crews made lanterns to remind us of the new life God gives us-and how it's our job to shine His light to all we meet!
In Bible Bayou, while participating in Passover, cerws got to try "bitter herbs" (parsley with salt) which not many of the kids enjoyed tasting. YUCK!
We got to see some fun faces though! :)
It was a neat experience for the kids to really get involved in the Bible Story and focus on Jesus' sacrifice and love for us.
Crews have made lots of new friends along the way! Another benefit of mixed aged crews- older kids help out and guide younger crew members!
Crews have loved going from station to station through our Bayou Tunnel-complete with swampy creatures lurking about!
FEAR NOT!
In Bible Bayou, crews wrote their names upon our cross to symbolize how they belong to Jesus, and how he knows each one of our names!
It was really inspiring to watch the crews dedicate themselves to Jesus.
GOD GIVES US LIFE-Fear not!
Prayer has been an important part for all the Bayou Crews!
Our station leaders really capture the crews attention!

Kids look forward to each and every station-and their schedule changes each day.
In Gator Games, crews practiced working together to "move the stone" in a fun relay.
In a fun game called "possum tag," crews ran from the crocodiles and when tagged, layed down like possums until another team member gave them new life!
The kids sure had fun being the crocodiles!
After Gator games, the kids discuss how the games connect to the gospel message of the day.
Kristin made lots of new friends this week!
Each crew has special jobs-one of which is the Gator Guide which leads the crew to the next station!
When the crews switch stations, it can be a little chaotic, but it's fun to see how everyone watched out for each other.
