Day 2

DAY 2 of Crocodile Dock was a TON of fun!
The kids dove deeper into some Bible stories, met a special guest and learned some new promises of God!
BIBLE POINT: GOD IS POWERFUL
When the kids hear the BIBLE POINT each day, they respond with a loud "FEAR NOT!"
BIBLE MEMORY BUDDY: Jacques le Croc
Jacques is strong and reminds us just how POWERFUL God is-even more powerful than Jacques!

The kids love to gather in the beginning of the day for Sing and Play Stomp Swamp. This is where we learn our new songs, Bible point and share God Sightings!

It's inspiring to see hundreds of kids singing worship songs together!

We also have some fun sharing time during Stomp Swamp!

Today's craft was a wind up whistler! The noise reminds us of the wind and how powerful it is-just like God!

Once we learned how to use it, kids LOVED their whistler!

At most stations, Bayou crews circle up for discussion and talk about what just happened!

These discussions are important so that the kids apply the Bible point to their day!

For a lot of kids, talking with their crew is one of their favorite parts of the day. In small groups, everyone gets to share and no one feels left out.

Today in Gator Games the kids played "Raft Races" that showed us how important it is to work with others-we are a lot more powerful that way!

Our snack was a trail mix sort called "Bugs and Boils." YUCK! But the kids loved our snack today because it reminded us of God's powerful plagues He sent to Pharoah.

In Bible Bayou, kids met Pharoah himself! Together with their crew, the kids shouted "let my people go" seven times and each time, when Pharoah said no, they demonstrated one of the plagues God sent.

In Gator Games, kids learned how to work together to protect themselves from silly string attacks! This connected to how strong God is when he puts friends and families in our lives to help us!

Mrs. Sue teaching the significance of the wind up whistler in "Crawfish Crafts and Missions."

Pharoah didn't like all the plagues God sent-especially the boils on his skin while he was sleeping!

The kids loved Spotlight Drama, where each group gets a chance this week to be in a slideshow shown on the big screen!

They have to pose in funny ways such a hopping like frogs!

They pose as our characters, too! Here is a shot of one of our Pharoah's!

Some more frogs hopping away for Spotlight Drama!

Some crews acting our the plagues God sent to Pharoah!

High fives are an important part of bonding with your Bayou Crew!
